Dr. Rolando Roque-Malherbe born in Cuba; finished a BSc, MSc and PhD in Physics at Havana University and National University for Science and Technology, Russia, respectively. Completed post-doctoral stints at: TU Dresden, Moscow State University, TU Budapest, Central Research Institute for Chemistry of the Hungarian Academies of Science (1978-1984). The group lead by him in the National Center for Scientific Research Cuba (1980-1992), was the world leader in the study and application of Natural Zeolites. In 1993 left Cuba with his family. From 1993 to 1999 worked in the Institute of Chemical Technology, Valencia, Spain, and Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, GA. From 1999 to 2015 was: Dean, Director and Full Professor at University of Turabo, PR, currently is the President of Materials for Art and Science Use. Has published 135 papers, 6 books, 16 chapters, 16 patents, 42 abstracts and more than 200 presentations in scientific conferences. Currently American Citizen.
